Student Visa
Prior to their arrival to Turkey, incoming Erasmus students should check whether they need a visa or not. For current information please check
E-VISA or Visa Information For Foreigners.
Students should apply to student visa as soon as they receive their acceptance letter from DPU. After receiving the visa, please don’t forget to send a copy of it to DPU International Relations Office.
Please note that incoming students are responsible for applying for a visa themselves. Erasmus Office is not involved in the application process. As processing a visa application may take a long time, you are advised to file your application as soon as possible.

Insurance
Apart from the travel insurance the Turkish Consulates may ask, we strongly advise Incoming Erasmus+ Students not to pay for a health insurance in their country since it may not comply with the Turkish regulations. Following your arrival, you can have your health insurance from Turkish Social Security Institution. There is a high possibility that the immigration office reject the health insurance policy you already purchased elsewhere even though it is clearly stated as a ‘world wide policy’ with full treatments and conditions. We do not take any responsibility if the immigration police rejects the health insurance policy you already purchased elsewhere even though it is clearly stated as a ‘world wide policy’ with full treatments and conditions.
