INCOMING ERASMUS STUDENTS APPLICATION DEADLINES For the academic year 2010-2011 application deadlines are as follows: Full year: June 30th, 2010 Fall term: June 30th, 2010 Spring term: November 30th, 2010 Academic Calendar Fall semester starts at the third week of September (14 weeks) examination period 2 weeks Spring semester starts at the first week of February (14 weeks) examination period 2 weeks Note: The dates may vary according to the year. APPLICATION PROCESS Each applicant must complete the application form and post it to Dumlupınar University International Relations office with the other required documents before the deadline. 1) APPLICATION FORM (completed in full and signed by the student. Applications posted without photograph and signatures will be invalid!) Please click to download the Application Form! 2) TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS (a copy of an official transcript in English) 3) LEARNING AGREEMENT (3 original copies signed by the student and the responsible coordinators as well) 4) 2 PASSPORT-SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS for your student identification card at Dumlupınar University. After completing the required documents (Application form, Transcript of records, 3 original copies of Learning Agreement (LA), and 2 photos) post them to the following address: Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Merkez Kampüs Tavşanlı Yolu 10. km Rektörlük Uluslararası İlişkiler Ofisi Kütahya, TÜRKIYE Before or after you post your documents send an information e-mail to iro@dpu.edu.tr Once the applications are received by the International Relations Office, 1) The application is controlled by the Office coordinators. If the application is complete, your application will be accepted and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail written on your application. 2) Your LA's will be sent to the related coordinators at DPU and be confirmed by the department as well. 3) After the approval from the department your confirmed documents and acceptance/invitation letter will be posted to the address of International Relations Office at your University. VISA Before leaving for Türkiye, exchange students should pick their letters of acceptance and obtain a multi-entry student visa from the nearest Turkish Consulate. ACCOMODATION There is a wide range of accommodation options for students: staying in public or private dormitories with their modern buildings including catering facilities, bathrooms in each room; and in hostels, furnished rooms or shared-flats with other students. At main campus there is a private dormitory which offers a warm and friendly service. The dormitory is newly constructed; it has wireless internet facility and offers breakfast and dinner for students. Besides the main dormitory students can reside in other part of the city in the state owned dormitory that contains 1000 girl-student rooms and 1000 boy-student rooms. If you have any demand related with these private accommodation facilities, indicate this while filling the application forms that will be sent to the International Relations Office. From both cities there are direct connections to Kütahya either by train or by bus.
